A picture of a baby pigeon hiding from the camera; behind the pot. It’s apparently perplexed as to where I am as I too was hiding on the other side and caught this picture from somewhere at the top of the plant, through the leaves.
It (the baby) was slightly dumb to not see me.
I’ve named it as ‘Caged In Leaves’ because the picture turns out to give the feels of leaves behaving like bars for the pigeon, as if it’s caged.

It was not many days old, so, I doubt that. And if it was doing that, then hey, a poet-pigeon was born. Hehe.
Thanks for your lovely comment. 🙂

I choose to look at it in a slightly different way. I think cage for the pigeon is what we (humans) have created an illusion of. It might actually be us who are actually enslaved, trapped and caged by our limited vision, foresight and greed. We think we own the world, and pity the pigeon who is cornered, but he/she might be in a better position to pity us as even the entire world, barring that tiny corner, is also not enough to satisfy our whims.. Which means we are the ones inside the cage created by our ambitions and aspirations, and nobody else.
I know it is a sombre thought, but that was my immediate interpretation. Maybe I’ll think of something more positive when I see it again. Nonetheless, have a great day!

And I believe you think absolutely right. It is us who are trapped in the worldly pleasures and possessions and sadly took the other natutal entities for granted. Well, when one can negative in himself and give a chance to correct it -nothing is more positive than that. And, thanks a lot for this sensible comment.☺️
P.S. I call it caged in leaves because this picture appears to be like that.🙂
